The Change Coefficient exists to help amazing, mission driven organisations scale and maximise their impact. It aims to be the advisor of choice to the social impact and investment sector, bridging the worlds of social enterprise, commissioning and investment. It helps VCSEs raise capital and develop sustainability strategies; commissioners deliver value for money through new forms of commissioning, and investors and foundations design and implement impact investing strategies. Like most mission driven organisations, The Change Coefficient is working towards its own redundancy by building the capacity of organisations across the sector and creating a more effective social investment eco-system.

Tej is a finance and enterprise development expert with a career spanning investment banking, equity fund management and social enterprise incubation across developed and developing markets. She has funded, supported and built social enterprises in India and Myanmar. Tej has helped more than two hundred mission driven organisations and raised over £5m of capital through equity and debt. Tej is a teacher at heart and has designed and delivered a complete curriculum for social enterprises and business coaches. She leverages her experience as an investor and social entrepreneur to help clients navigate the complex world of impact investing. Prior to her work in development, Tej was a Vice President of equity research at JPMorgan and a fund manager at Odey Asset Management. She holds a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford.
