E3M Member Name:Michelle Hill Title :Group Chief Executive Michelle holds a First Class Degree in Public Policy and Management and a Masters in Business (MBA), and recognises both the privilege and opportunity which created the conditions for her to achieve these qualifications. She began her career as a Youth Worker for Nacro, the crime reduction charity, working with young people at risk of offending in 2002. She worked her way upward, and her final role in 2012 was leading an organisation-wide change programme. She became the CEO of Relate Greater Manchester South, her first CEO position, in 2013. She later led the disaffiliation of Relate GMS from the national Relate Federation with the support of staff and trustees. In April 2017, aged 33, Michelle founded TLC: Talk, Listen, Change; a brand new relationships charity. She has grown TLC’s income to just over £4m, winning contracts across Greater Manchester and beyond, securing social investment several times and most recently launching TLC’s first subsidiary herself while the appointed Managing Director completed her maternity leave. She is a Non-Executive Director and Committee Chair for Mosscare St Vincent’s Housing, a trustee for the BGF Foundation and holds positions on a wide range of regional and national influencing and representation groups. Michelle is a 2024 Acumen Fellow, 2017 Clore Social Fellow and was shortlisted for CEO of the Year at the Third Sector Awards 2024.
