Sharon leads Be Caring, the UK’s largest employee-owned social care provider, recognised for delivering innovative, values-led homecare. A qualified accountant with a background in international development (Save the Children), criminal justice reform, and NHS finance, Sharon brings a unique, system-wide perspective to health and social care.
Under her leadership, Be Caring transformed from a struggling organisation (CASA) into a multi-award-winning provider, pioneering a shift-pay model that empowers care workers and improves continuity of care. Sharon is a national voice in sector reform – shaping policy through her role on the Homecare Association Board and championing ethical commissioning, workforce equity, and digital innovation through Careview360.
In 2023, she received the Business Culture Leadership Award for her visionary, people-first leadership.
