Care Plus Group is a social business that provides community health and care services for adults of all ages, and exists to support people to achieve their best quality of life.

Established in 2011 as a Community Benefit Society in North East Lincolnshire, Care Plus is owned by its staff and run for the benefit of that community, with any profit being reinvested back into the development and delivery of its services, which include:

  • Community Nursing
  • Employability Services
  • Palliative and End of Life Care Services
  • Community Learning Disability Services
  • Specialist Nursing (e.g. continence, diabetes, infection control, tissue viability)
  • Intermediate Care at Home
  • Substance Misuse Services
  • Falls and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
  • Health and Wellbeing Collaboratives
  • Transport
  • Community Psychology Service

Care Plus is ISO 9001 Accredited, with the following services being in scope – Macmillan, The Haven Team, Intermediate Care at Home, Rapid Response, Home Team, Telephone Triage service and The Beacon Intermediate Centre. It has also been assessed and registered against ISO 27001 accreditation for its Information Security Management System (ISMS). In 2016, the Intermediate Care at Home service was rated ‘outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Jane started her career in 1984 as a qualified social worker working across both Adult and Children’s and Families services. Jane has subsequently operated in a variety of roles, including working for 10 years for a national Children’s Charity focused on children’s safeguarding.

Jane joined Care Plus Group in February 2011 following an extensive career in local government which included her previous role with a neighbouring local authority as an Executive Director covering a broad range of services. Jane has been part of Care Plus Group prior to us going live and following being Deputy Chief Executive/ Chief Operating Officer for five years Jane moved into the position of Chief Executive in February 2016.
